Any Athens State University student wishing to apply for Institutional (on-campus) Work Study employment should complete an online application by visiting jobs.athens.edu. All students MUST complete an on-line application to be eligible. Paper applications are no longer accepted. Login without Vitae to create a username and password. Students may work no more than 19 hours per week. On-campus positions typically offer between 10 and 19 hours per week. Positions vary between departments and offices, but can involve clerical work, customer service, technical support or general labor. You must be currently enrolled at the university to be eligible for Work Study positions.

Students interested in Federal Work Study opportunities should contact the Office of Student Financial Aid located in the Sandridge Student Center.

Applications are considered for all positions without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, marital or veteran status, or in the presence of a non-related medical condition or disability.

Applications will be kept in a student applicant pool for one year from the date of application.
